The passion for teaching

Dr. Smitha Hegde (Professor at the Nitte Centre for Science Education and Research, Mangalore) is passionate about ferns and teaching.
We had a wonderful meeting with her during RBPT Workshop at Mangalore last year. She inspires her students, colleagues and everyone around her.

Very interesting interview. As a scientist turned educator, I could relate with almost everything she mentioned-right from need of passion in teaching, and the challenging work conditions, to the personal satisfaction and immense knowledge one can gain in this profession.
